Homestead onwed J. and T. Skardžiai and stone named „Devil's Foot“

Alongside the road from Salamiestis to Kupiškis you can find the village of Gyvakarai. There is an old village street and valuable monuments of the old vvooden architecture — J. and T. Skardžiai dwelling-house and the barn, built in 1889 year, and P. Dirda's stackyard. The village has a famous stone, called Devil's Foot, near which, according to the native legends, all local vvitches used to meet.

Church of evangelical-reformists i n Salamiestis

In the XVI century the mansion in Salamiestis, which belonged to the Radvilai family who professed Kalvins' teaching, became the first evangelical-reformist center in Kupiškis region. In 1583 they built their service-house in Salamiestis, and in 1595 they established parochial Lithuanian school. It is the oldest school in the region.

St. Antanas Paduvietis church in Salamiestis

Under the concern of priest Mykolas Dirvianskas and financed by the countess Konstancija Marikonienė and the parish the present St. Antanas Paduvietis church was erected in 1815-1820 in the style of classicistic rectangular one muff joint plan.

Grain warehouse in Salamiestis, called „Magazinas“

Count Tiškevičius, around the year 1860, erected a stone building „Magazinas“ in Salamiestis, which ruins remain up till now.

Tiskeviciai' estate in Salamiestis

Classicistic mansion-house of Salamiestis was built in the third decade of the XIX century, farms — about the year 1850 and the millhouse of stone. The owners of the estate were the Tiskeviciai family.
